Traffic Impacts on Nearby Surface Streets Due to Westlake High School Graduation Event Today #ThousandOaksPolice
Congrats Westlake High School Class of 2020!
The Thousand Oaks Police Department is letting our community know there is a graduation procession with vehicles of graduates that will enter and exit the Wetlake High School campus to receive their diplomas. This is in lieu of commencement, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Traffic may be impacted for periods of time beginning at Thursday, 6/11, beginning at 9 AM and will continue throughout the day.
Impacted streets near the campus that will be affected are westbound Thousand Oaks Blvd approaching Via Merida and norhbound/southbound Via Merida.
If you live in the area or use these thoroughfares please allow for extra driving or plan alternate routes to avoid the area.
Residents north of Thousand Oaks Blvd and east of Via Merida please use Via Colinas for entrance and exit. Via Merida will not be accessible for residents during the graduation event.
