Brown County is scheduled to begin the Center Street / CSAH 13 Mill & Overlay and ADA Sidewalk Improvement Project on Monday, June 15th.  The project limits are between Broadway and Camelsback Road. 

Included as part of this project will be the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of Center Street and Payne Street.  The signal will initially be put into all-way stop mode and then removed.  Temporary stop signs will be put into place as the existing signal is taken down.  The intersection will remain a 4-way stop throughout the duration of the project and until the new signal system is operational. 

The first phase of the project will be the replacement of the sidewalk pedestrian ramps. The outer lanes in each direction will be closed to accommodate the sidewalk construction.  This initial phase is expected to last approximately three weeks. 

As the project progresses additional details on the scheduled Center Street closures will be sent out via Nixle.
