On Thursday June 11th 2020 at approximately 8:15 pm the Absecon Police Department received a call in reference to a male shot on Absecon Boulevard (Rt. 30) near the Travelodge Hotel. Upon arrival police located a vehicle operated by Kahree Nesbitt who had suffered a gun shot wound to the torso. Absecon Police officers provided emergency medical care to Nesbitt and he was transported to the Atlanticare City Division hospital for treatment. He is currently in stable condition. At this time, the incident is believed to have occurred on the westbound side of Absecon Boulevard near the area of the Delilah Road exit ramp.
