AGPD Announces Name of Officer Involved in Yesterday's Shooting 
The Arroyo Grande Police Department can confirm our SWAT team member struck by gunfire in yesterday's shooting was Sergeant Michael Smiley. Sergeant Smiley is a 16 year veteran of the department and 8 year veteran of the San Luis Obispo Regional SWAT Team where he is assigned as a Team Leader. Sergeant Smiley is home recovering with his family and the Arroyo Grande Police Department wishes him a full and healthy recovery.
