Homicide Investigation 
HAYWARD, Calif., June 14, 2020 — Early this morning, around 3:00 AM, our officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2700 block of Manon Avenue in Hayward. Upon arrival, two men were located suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical aid was provided however one man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other man is currently being treated at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the deceased man is known but it is being withheld until proper notification is made to his family.
This incident remains an ongoing investigation as witnesses are identified and evidence is gathered.
