Brian Hoernke of San Bernardino was arrested for possession of an unregistered firearm

INCIDENT: PC 25850(c)(6) Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, PC 29825(a)(1) Possession of Firearm with Active Domestic Violence Restraining Order
LOCATION: 40th St/Sierra Way, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Brian Hoernke, age 32, resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On June 14, 2020, Deputy E. Fakhoury, from the Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a traffic stop and contacted the passenger, identified as Brian Hoernke. During a search of the vehicle, a loaded firearm was located. The firearm had no serial number and was unregistered. Further investigation revealed Hoernke has an active domestic violence restraining order against him. Both Hoernke and the driver of the vehicle were documented criminal street gang members. Hoernke was arrested for PC 25850(c)(6), Possession of an Unregistered Firearm and PC 29825(a)(1), Possession of Firearm with an Active Domestic Violence Restraining Order and was booked into the Central Detention Center.
