In-Memoriam Officer Dale Provins 
It is with my deepest sorrow that former Port Vue Police Officer Dale Provins Jr. passed away on Saturday June 13, 2020 as a result of critical injuries suffered from a head on vehicle collision on June 3. Officer Provins was on duty in Jefferson Hills where he was currently employed when another vehicle struck his patrol car.
Officer Provins started his police career with the port Vue Police and was employed here for approximately 5 years. During this time, Officer Provins excelled at his police work and loved his job and community.
Myself and our department are extremely saddened and devastated for this loss of a fine man, father, police officer and a long time personal friend. Our prayers & thoughts go out to the entire Provins family and we all share in your pain and grief. Thank you for your service Dale. END of WATCH: 6-13-20
