Shooting in Wildbrook Subdivision VB Twp. 
On June 16th 2020 at approximately 0916 hours the Van Buren Township Police Department responded to the Wildbrook Subdivision to investigate numerous 911 calls reporting multiple gunshots fired. The Van Buren Township Communications Center continued to collect information related to this incident and provided officers with a possible incident location. Van Buren Township Officers arrived on scene where they discovered evidence of a shooting and initiated a preliminary investigation.
Officers located numerous witnesses, secured evidence and interviewed a 19-year-old Van Buren Township resident who was shot at numerous times, while she was seated in her vehicle. It should be noted that she was not struck by any of the bullets and she was able to flee into a residence. A black male suspect then fled the scene in a silver Lincoln LS passenger vehicle toward Savage Road.
