Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
800 block Doheny Drive
06/08/2020 @ 0515. A man held a metal club over his head and threatened to kill the victim after being asked to leave the parking garage. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #02723
 
Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
Curson Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
06/08/2020 @ 0858. A woman was walking EB on the sidewalk of Santa Monica Blvd when a man walked by her while pushing a shopping cart and yelled profanities at her. The victim tried to walk away and the suspect used his shopping cart to push the victim to the ground. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. The victim was transported to the hospital with an injury to her wrist. #02727

06/09/2020 @ 0922. A man swung a hammer at the victim but did not hit him. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #02743

06/09/2020 @ 1900-1900. An unknown suspect used the front door to gain entry and removed a laptop computer. No sign of forced entry. #02771

Gardner Street / Willoughby Avenue
06/10/2020 @ 1206. While in the backseat of a rideshare vehicle, the suspect placed a knife to the victim’s neck and took control of his phone. The suspect used the phone to transfer money from the victim’s Venmo account. #02767

Grand Theft – Unlocked Vehicle
8400 block Santa Monica Blvd
06/11/2020 @ 1345-1400. An unknown suspect removed a laptop computer from the rear floorboard of the unlocked vehicle. #02798

06/13/2020 – 06/15/2020. An unknown suspect smashed the glass door to gain entry and ransacked the interior. The victim was unsure if any items were taken. #02843

Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon
Santa Monica Blvd / La Cienega Blvd
06/14/2020 @ 1300. A woman was sprayed with an unknown substance by the suspect while riding in the back of a truck during a protest. The substance landed on the victim’s leg and caused a burning sensation. #02830
