Downtown Open Streets will offer pedestrian-only access and allow restaurants to accommodate outdoor dining and retailers to display merchandise on the sidewalk for outdoor shopping while complying with the Santa Clara County Health Order.

In order to accommodate outdoor dining and retailer merchandise in the Downtown corridor, the City is implementing a partial shutdown of downtown from Thursday-Monday to allow for pedestrian-only access.

The closure will take place on the following streets. A map is attached for more information.

• Main Street will be shut down from Community Plaza to First Street
• State Street will be shut down from Third Street to First Street
• A small portion of Fourth Street will be closed from State Street to the first plaza driveway

Note: The numbered streets (First, Second and Third) will remain open to vehicular traffic. The plazas will remain open to allow for parking. 

There will be pickup and drop-off locations, ADA street accessible parking and bike parking for easy access and convenience. See the attached Open Streets Los Altos Map for the locations.

The Information Booth is located at Third and Main - Chase Plaza.
