Flash Flood Warning until 10:15AM

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma... Western Cotton County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 711 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chattanooga, Randlett, Devol, Faxon, Cookietown and Taylor. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COMANCHE, OK ... COTTON, OK

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
