* At 241 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harristown, or 10 miles southwest of Decatur, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Decatur, Forsyth, Maroa, Mount Pulaski, Harristown, Warrensburg, Macon, Illiopolis, Niantic, Mount Auburn, Latham, Boody and Elwin. This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 120 and 142.
