Moraga-Orinda Fire will be conducting a short controlled burn at Painted Rock tomorrow 930a-12noon. 
Moraga-Orinda Fire District will be conducting a short controlled burn at Painted Rock tomorrow (Tuesday) from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The purpose of the controlled burn is to further reduce fuels in the area as part of vegetation management activities. This also provides a training opportunity for area firefighters to better prepare them for the upcoming fire season while improving fire safety in our community.
Residents in the surrounding areas should consider keeping doors and windows closed during these times as there will be smoke in the air. Please contact the Moraga-Orinda Fire District with any questions at 925-258-4599.
