BURN BAN IN LIFTED 
The STATE issued a BURN BAN has now been lifted for the area. Open Burning permits are now available. To obtain call the station at 269-641-7100 to apply at no cost. Allowed burning are HOUSEHOLD paper, untreated wood, and brush clearing materials. Fire Must NOT produce a hazard for respiratory illness or the possibility of Fire to others property. FIRE must be attended, and must NOT produce BLACK SMOKE. YOU are responsible to contain YOUR fire, and are responsible for health or fire hazards to others as a result of your burning.
Please allow up to 24 hours to approve your permit.
