Class of 2020 Graduation 
The 2020 School Year in Hayward abruptly ended due to a global pandemic.
No graduation, no celebration, no ceremony. No way!
With safety and county guidelines in mind, “Walk the Stage” events were held at HUSD high schools and middle schools in what were drive-thru graduations! Check out the video below:

Our own Sergeant Angela Irizarry worked with Associate Planner Marcus Martinez and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lisa Davies to put together the “Walk the Stage” events for 8th graders and Seniors. Well done HUSD – you’ve given these future leaders and their families a graduation they’ll long remember. And, thanks for letting us go along for the ride!
