Meridian Women Charged with Prostitution
On Wednesday, June 24th, Meridian Police arrested two (2) people during the execution of two (2) search warrants at the following locations: Bamboo Massage Spa, 3035 West McMillan Road and a residence in the 6000 block of North Silver Spruce Ave in Meridian.
This investigation began with multiple citizen complaints, stating that the employees were offering sexual acts in exchange for money. After an eighteen (18) month prostitution investigation, Meridian Police executed the search warrants at approximately 11:15AM this morning. Police arrested two (2) employees from Bamboo Massage Spa. Thirty-eight (38) year old female Weihua DI of Meridian and forty-five (45) year old female Meina HOU of Meridian were both arrested for one (1) count misdemeanor prostitution.
Police also recovered approximately $30,000 in cash during the residential search.
Both suspects were cited and released due to COVID-19. This is an ongoing investigation and no further details are available at this time.
