June 24, 2020 Knowlton Township Coronavirus Update
This evening Warren County is reporting 1221 cases of Covid-19, 731 of which are fully recovered. There have been 145 deaths. Knowlton Township has had 11 cases, 10 of which are fully recovered.
From the County: Warren County is offering two more days of COVID-19 testing for NJ residents at the Warren County Technical School tomorrow, June 25, and on June 30, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The testing is sponsored by HHS/FEMA, in coordination with the NJ Department of Health. The walk-up testing site offers a self-swab test. Tests will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, free of charge. Residents do not need to call ahead to be tested.
From the State: The Governors of NJ, NY, and CT issued a joint travel advisory today, informing travelers from areas where coronavirus cases are spiking that they must quarantine for 14 days. The travel advisory currently applies to travelers from:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Arizona
- Florida
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Texas
- Utah
- Washington
June 29: Dept. of Motor Vehicles facilities and Inspection Stations will reopen.
July 2: Playgrounds, casinos, arcades, bowling alleys, museums, aquariums, and amusement and water parks, including the Land of Make Believe
July 2: Inside dining at restaurants, with limited capacity
July 2: Libraries will be open to the public inside, with capacity limits
July 2: New Jersey gyms and fitness centers may start offering “individualized training sessions by appointment” only
There has been no word yet when movie theaters, concert venues, nightclubs, performing arts centers or gyms will re-open.
