Per CT DOT - Resurfacing Project for Route 55 Sherman/New Milford - from Rte 7 to the NY State Line. July 2nd-13th 
CT DOT announced that the the milling and re-surfacing of Route 55 in Sherman and New Milford from Route 7 to the state line will start on July 2 and is slated to be completed on July 13. Motorists should expect delays and alternating one lane traffic.
