Gov. Henry McMaster and other public health officials will give an update on the COVID-19 situation around the state this afternoon. At this time numbers continue to rise in South Carolina. The state is considered one of the hot spots in the nation. This morning nearly 300 people received free Covid testing in Hardeeville at the St. Stephens AME Church. Church, city officials and staff from Coastal Carolina Hospital hope to have another free testing event in Hardeeville in the near future.
