...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio,
including the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette
IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN, and
Wayne. In Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll,
Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and
Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton,
Hamilton, Highland, Pike, Preble, Scioto, and Warren.

* Until midnight EDT tonight

* Areas of showers and thunderstorms will move very slowly through
the watch area, with potential to produce more than 2 inches of
rain in an hour for some locations. With some areas having
received heavy rain overnight Monday night, soils are saturated
in some locations. This will lead to quickly developing flash
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
