Last month, our patrol officers located a car in the area of Manon Avenue with no plates attached and conducted a traffic enforcement stop. The man provided officers with his information and a records check indicated he had two outstanding no bail felony warrants for his arrest and was on searchable probation. Thankfully, the man obeyed the directions he was given by our patrol officers and he was safely detained without incident.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded, Westerfield Model 25 shotgun concealed under a jacket between the center console and front passenger seat. The man was arrested for the outstanding warrants and for possessing the sawed-off shotgun.
