All parking enforcement in the City of Alhambra will be suspended starting Friday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 5, 2020, for the Independence Day Holiday. Inter-Con (parking enforcement) personnel will resume enforcement on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 2:00 a.m.
Since the Independence Day holiday falls on a Saturday, regular residential trash and recycling services will not be impacted. Commercial and industrial customers who normally have service on Saturday will have their service delayed by one day until Monday, July 6. Please contact Republic Services at 1-800-299-4898 with any additional questions.
The City of Alhambra has cancelled our annual 4th of July celebration and fireworks display at Almansor Park due to the coronavirus pandemic. Please remember, illegal fireworks are dangerous and prohibited. To slow the spread of #COVID19 and prevent crowding that can result in more people becoming infected, all LA County beaches, piers, parking lots, and bike paths will be closed Friday, July 3 at 12:01 AM to Monday, July 6 at 5:00 AM. Additionally, the U.S. Census Bureau is hiring. Positions include census field superviors, enumerators, recruiting assistants, office operations supervisors and clerks.
