Cushing Police would like to remind citizens of the City of Cushing Firework Ordinance. 
Cushing – As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day. The City of Cushing’s annual fireworks event has been canceled this year due to spread of COVID-19. Chief Claxton encourages everyone to have a safe 4th of July weekend. The Cushing Police Department would like to remind citizens that it is unlawful to sell, use, possess, transfer, discharge or explode any fireworks within the corporate city limits, provided that this prohibition shall not apply to duly authorized outdoor public displays. Any person found to be in violation of City Ordinance Article 10 Sec 33, 42-211 may be subject to a fine of $185.00.
