Motorcycle accident



Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 07/05/2020 at 1339 hours, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a motorcycle crash that occurred on Brownsville St east of Crooked Creek RD in Calvin Township. A 50 -year-old of Schoolcraft, Michael Bell, was driving his motorcycle westbound on Brownsville Street when Mr. Bell hit loose gravel, he lost control and ended up in a ditch. Mr. Bell was transported to Elkhart general for his injuries. Mr. Bell was wearing a helmet when the crash happened. At this time it is not known if intoxicating substances were a factor. This case remains under investigation
