Cooling Center Locations & Hours of Operation 
Washtenaw County has established two cooling center locations for members of the public to access during the current Heat Advisory and Excessive Heat Watch.
These locations are as follows:
Community Mental Health Building
555 Towner Street
Ypsilanti, MI 48198
Learning Resource Center
4135 Washtenaw Ave.
Ann Arbor, MI 48108
Both locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday. Bottled water will be provided and social distancing guidelines will be enforced, including mask requirements. Masks will be provided to anyone who does not have one.
A heat advisory is in place for Washtenaw County from Tuesday to Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Wednesday through Friday is under an “excessive heat watch,” with temperatures reaching a high of 95 degrees on Thursday.
