Deputies served a search warrant and arrested Lamont Hardiman, a convicted felon, for numerous firearm violations

INCIDENT: PC 29800(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Firearm, PC 33215 - Possess/Manufacture a Short-Barreled Shotgun, PC 30305(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Ammunition
LOCATION: 24000 Block of 7th Street, Highland
SUSPECT: Lamont Hardiman, 42 years old, resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
On July 8, 2020, deputies and detectives from the Highland Sheriff's Station served a search warrant at Hardiman's residence after receiving credible information that he was in possession of a firearm. Hardiman is a previously convicted felon and has prior arrests for felon in possession of a firearm. Deputies located a short-barreled "sawed off" shotgun and live ammunition inside Hardiman's residence. Hardiman was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center.
