On July 8, 2020, at 8:00 p.m., Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies served a search warrant at an illegal internet casino being operated in the 200 block of Curnow Road, in south Bakersfield. Deputies seized seven gaming machines, over 50 bags of packaged marijuana, and two handguns, one of which was stolen out of Arvin.
Deputies arrested two suspects for felony charges and issued one citation for marijuana sales.
