Traffic collisions and good feelings – two things that rarely go together.

But, when our own Officer Higgins was conducting a traffic collision investigation a couple of weeks ago that’s just what happened. While he was waiting on a tow truck, he decided to do a little training with his partner K-9 Arwin. What he didn’t know is that Marie, the smiling young lady in that photo, was watching from her window.

She ran outside and handed Officer Higgins a folded note with that nice drawing and message inside.

Touched by this bright moment, he asked Marie if she wanted to take a picture with Arwin and the two had a chance to play.

Proof that any day can be a good day!
