The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a
Flash Flood Warning for... East central Atlantic County in southern New Jersey... Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey...
Until 230 PM EDT.
At 1030 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that could experience flooding include... Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Barnegat, Beachwood, Egg Harbor City, Tuckerton, Seaside Heights, Lakehurst, Surf City, Port Republic, Mantoloking, Leisure Village, Wading River, Dover Beaches North, Holiday City South, Pleasant Plains, Warren Grove, Cedar Glen West and Leisure Village East.
