Weather Notification Information 
The City of Mitchell will no longer be sending a Nixle message out for thunderstorm watches or warnings and tornado watches or warnings, as these go to your email and are less likely to be seen in a timely manner. Currently there are numerous weather apps that can be installed on your smart devices to alert you to weather events more efficiently.
