On 07-10-2020 at 7:32am, deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of St. Mary’s Rd in western Vigo County in reference to a rollover crash. It appeared that the vehicle, a 2008 white Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound on St. Mary’s Rd when it left the roadway and continued south in a ditch. The vehicle then became airborne after crashing into a culvert and flipped end over end, coming to rest upside down. When deputies arrived, they were advised by medical personnel already on scene that the driver, 63 year old Steven L Seeley of West Terre Haute, was killed in the crash. Vigo County Sheriff’s Office detectives along with members of the Vigo County Fatal Crash Team, and the Vigo County Coroner’s Office assisted with the investigation. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. Our thoughts and prayers are with Steven Seeley’s family and friends. John Plasse Vigo County Sheriff
