Update - witnesses provide a description of the suspect vehicle in the 2019 murder investigation of Marty Palmer

New information regarding the suspect’s vehicle was obtained from witnesses. The vehicle was described as a white Chevrolet or Dodge, sports car style sedan, with newer LED headlights.

Investigators have new information regarding multiple witnesses who were present at the time of the murder. Investigators are asking these witnesses to come forward with any information they have related to this investigation.

SUMMARY:
On Friday, February 15, 2019, at approximately 12:18 am., deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s Station responded to 26351 E. Baseline Street, Highland regarding a reported assault with a deadly weapon inside the residence. Upon arrival, deputies located one male subject, later identified as Marty Palmer, injured from an apparent gunshot wound. Palmer was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. The investigation is ongoing; updates will be issued as new information becomes available for release. The motive is not known at this time.
