INCIDENT: PC 288(a) Lewd/ Lascivious Acts with a Minor
 
LOCATION: City of Yucaipa
 
SUSPECT: Gerad Bullard, 38-year-old male, resident of Yucaipa
 
VICTIM:     Confidential, 15-year-old female
 
 
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Specialized Investigation Division, Crimes Against Children Detail opened an investigation alleging sexual abuse of a 15-year-old female victim, from the time she was 10-years-old to 15-years-old. The suspect was identified as Gerad Bullard, a 38-year-old resident of Yucaipa.
 
At the conclusion of the investigation, Bullard was arrested under the authority of a warrant, issued for PC 288(a) lewd/ lacivious acts with a minor. Bullard was employed as a Fire Captain by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal-Fire). 
 
On July 12, 2020 Bullard was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and his bail was set at $250,000.00.
