A 15 year old male was shot while sleeping at his home in Pineland, SC on July 14, 2020 due to a drive-by. 
Shooting Incident on July 14, 2020: On July 14, 2020 at 2:42am, Deputies were called to a home in the 2800 block of Gillison Branch Road in Pineland, SC. Reports were received that a drive-by shooting had occurred. Deputies arrived and found a 15 year old male with a bullet wound to his head. Family members stated the young man was sleeping in his bed when the shots began entering the house. The young man was flown to Savannah Memorial Hospital by EMS staff, where he is listed in Critical Condition. Detectives are working on identifying the suspect vehicle and shooter(s).
