Sausalito Police Officers Arrest Subject For Burglary
On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at approximately 9:16 AM, Sausalito Police Officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 1900 block of Bridgeway in regards to a suspicious person accessing private property. The reporting party stated that they saw a person enter an apartment that did not belong to them.
Upon arrival, Officers contacted Connor Hanley (a 32-year-old transient) inside of the apartment. Hanley stated that he was staying at a friend’s apartment and had permission to be there. Further investigation revealed that Hanley had unlawfully entered the apartment and did not have permission to be on the premises. Hanley was found to be in possession of property belonging to the legal tenant of the apartment as well as suspected Hydrocodone without a prescription. A records check revealed that Hanley is on probation in Marin County for trespassing and violating a protective order.
Hanley was arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail for burglary, trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, and violating his probation.
