Community Movement Builders March 
The Public Safety Department has been made aware that there is a Peaceful March that is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. this evening. The event is set to begin at the Harper Woods Kroger.
The Public Safety Department would like to recommend that residents avoid Harper Avenue, Vernier Avenue and Eight Mile Road during this time to limit traffic congestion and to ensure the safety of all participating in the march.
The Public Safety Department supports the First Amendment protection afforded to the right to Freedom of Speech. We ask that residents also support the right to free speech. Please respect and do not engage with the marchers if you have a differing opinion.
