Avoid Hwy 17 South from Alligator Alley to the GA/SC State Line. These roads are closed due to a structure fire. 
Shortly after 12pm, Jasper County Fire and Rescue crews responded to US Hwy 17 at the foot of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. A two story building located in Jasper County was found fully engulfed in flames. Multiple fire and rescue agencies have responded to assist and these roads are closed for safety. Hwy 17 South from Alligator Alley to the Georgia/SC State line and the Talmadge Bridge are completely closed. Please avoid this area or expect extreme traffic delays.
