The #COYOTEFIRE in the Panoche Valley is 50% contained and has burned 1400 acres. The evacuation center at Bolado Park (San Benito County Fairgrounds) is currently on STANDBY. Red Cross is no longer on scene. If it becomes necessary, it will be reopened. Many thanks to Fair Director Dara Tobias for her, and her staff’s, willingness to help out. If you have an immediate need for sheltering or evacuation, please call the San Benito County Office of Emergency Services (OES) at 831 636-4168 The Sheriffs Office is still in the area checking on residents and providing security. We are grateful for the brave firefighters who are attacking this fire.
