The warrant was served on July 15, 2020
On June 15, 2020, deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at an illegal internet casino located at an abandoned business in the 1100 block of N. Chester Ave. Approximately 10 people were detained at the location when the warrant was served. As a result of the warrant, deputies seized two illegal gaming machines, methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and arrested two suspects with felony warrants. An additional subject, Nina Martinez (36 years old), was arrested for operating a gaming facility and possession of a controlled substance, along with multiple warrants.
