Unemployment Scam! 
The Beecher Police have received several notifications that residents received Illinois Department of Employment Security "IDES" prepaid Debit Cards issued by Key Bank. This is part of a fraudulent scam. If you have not filed for unemployment benefits, but received this letter follow the below recommended steps.
1. Do Not activate this card
2. Check your credit reports
3. Check your bank account
4. Contact issuing bank & (IDES) Illinois Department of Employment Security. IDES is aware of the fraud scheme
