* At 438 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Mechanicsburg to Taylorville, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Decatur, Taylorville, Mount Zion, Forsyth, Moweaqua, Harristown, Long Creek, Blue Mound, Macon, Stonington, Illiopolis, Niantic, Mechanicsburg, Mount Auburn, Buffalo, Boody, Willeys, Elwin, Decatur Airport and Hervey City. This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 114 and 143.
