* At 404 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms with a history of producing wind damage were located along a line extending from near Fairland to Marlow Heights to near La Plata, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and isolated hail up to quarter size. SOURCE...Observed wind damage and doppler radar. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
* Locations impacted include... Baltimore, Waldorf, Bowie, Severn, Annapolis, Clinton, Crofton, Fort Washington, Elkridge, Riviera Beach, Forestville, Largo, La Plata, Mayo, Shady Side, Chesapeake Beach, Deale, Naval Academy, Prince Frederick and Upper Marlboro.
