Narrative:
On July 18th, 2020, a City of Camarillo resident contacted the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to report a vehicle vandalism.  The vandalism was committed on the roadway by an unknown female during a protest and march.

At approximately 1615 hours, the victim was driving eastbound on E. Daily Drive while the protest and march was occurring. The march was occupying the entire street and blocking all lanes of traffic on E. Daily Drive. The victim stopped his vehicle and waited for the march to pass.

Unprovoked, an unknown female suspect approached the victim’s vehicle and began striking the vehicle with a homemade sign. The suspect struck the vehicle approximately five times, breaking the homemade sign. As a result of the vandalism, the victim’s vehicle sustained permanent damage to the driver’s side fender.

The victim later took photographs of the suspect as she discarded the broken sign into a dumpster enclosure. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of this crime by viewing the attached photographs.  If you have any information on this crime, please contact Detective Woodward at 805-388-5117.
