Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau and Baldwin Park Police Department continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and female adult that occurred on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at approximately 2:05 p.m.
Detectives have learned that officers from the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to the 3300 block of Athol Street, in the City Baldwin Park in response to a 911 call about a possible domestic violence incident.
Upon their arrival, officers found two deceased victims. A female adult and a male adult who had suffered from gunshot wounds. A third victim who suffered from severe injuries was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life threating injuries.
A firearm was located and recovered at the scene. The motive is unknown and the victims have not yet been identified.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
