First Responder Parade through Middleton
Our National Night Out event was to be held on the evening of Thursday, August 6th but unfortunately had to be canceled due to COVID-19. As a department, we look forward to this event every year because it allows our community to come together to meet and talk with our local first responders.
We did not want this popular event to be a total loss this year, so we decided to bring the first responders to the Middleton community in the form of a small neighborhood parade. Starting at 6pm on Thursday, August 6th, there will be a small parade of first responders from Middleton driving through the city. The route as shown will start and end at the police department in the direction of the red arrow and an interactive map can be found at https://bit.ly/NeighborhoodParade2020.
Feel free to come out and wave to first responders as they travel through your neighborhood. Due to COVID-19 concerns, please follow social distancing and face covering recommendations. Also, first responders will NOT be throwing or passing out any items during this neighborhood parade. We look forward to seeing you on August 6th!
