On July 24, 2018 Clayton County Police Officers found a male robbery victim shot multiple times and deceased at the scene on Fountain Circle.  This 2018 murder has now been solved by Crime Scene Detectives linking firearm evidence resulting in two murder warrants being issued for Derrick Sample and Lorenzo Jamal Roberts.  With one down and one to go the Sheriff has now ordered Roberts placed #1 on his top ten most wanted and a manhunt is now underway.

Last night members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad captured Derrick Sample at a location in Forest Park without incident.  However, Roberts remains at large.

Roberts is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at a height of 5’3” and weighing approximately 125 pounds.  Roberts has a tattoo on his left arm that says “Pamela”.  If Roberts is spotted, he should be considered armed and dangerous. 911 should be dialed immediately.  If anyone has any information as to Robert’s whereabouts, the Fugitive Squad can be contacted at 770-477-4479.
