Full Notification

On Saturday, July 25th, Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station was notified of a stolen vehicle in Walnut via one of Walnut’s license plate reading cameras. Within minutes, Walnut/Diamond Bar deputies located the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody. The vehicle had been reported stolen by the suspect’s grandmother on July 22, and was released back to the registered owner in the field.
