Officers Macias & Hall were driving near Folsom and Huntwood when they saw a man and woman trying to flag them down 
What was wrong? Nothing. All was right!
The couple wanted to show their appreciation and support by presenting our officers with custom made Hayward PD mugs which they had made themselves. Awesome! Their “mission” was to find Hayward Police Officers to gift them with mugs as a sign of thanks. They said they were aware our job was challenging but wanted us to know we have the community’s support.
We feel that support all the time and we are very grateful to work in such an amazing community. And we love the mugs since coffee is a must!
