Beginning today, the citizens of Vigo County may conveniently file police reports for certain incidents from home, work, or anywhere with internet access. Simply go to Sheriff.vigocounty.in.gov and click on “File police report” from the selections on the left side and follow the instructions. This is for your convenience and not mandatory. The Sheriff’s Office will still call you or come to you in person for a report if you wish. You may file an online report for the following incidents- Fraud, phone harassment, identity theft, lost property, theft (non-vehicle), property damage and vandalism.
