LOCATION: Court Street / Anderson Street, Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Ohnjay Tellis, 41 years old, resident of Los Angeles
SUMMARY:
On July 26, 2020 at 1:43 a.m., Deputy Tamayo from the Sheriff's Central Station conducted a traffic stop in the area of Court Street and Anderson Street in Loma Linda. Deputy Tamayo contacted the driver who was identified as Ohnjay Tellis. During the contact, Tamayo detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a consensual search of the vehicle, Tamayo located a loaded firearm underneath the driver's seat. Tellis was arrested for P.C. 25850, Carrying a loaded firearm in public and booked into Central Detention Center.
